See full gallery on TechnoBuffaloMicrosoft announced it new universal touch-friendly Office suite a few weeks ago, following a deep-dive into Windows 10. The suite will work on Windows phones, tablets and smartphones in the future and, today, Microsoft released beta software for folks willing to give it a whirl.
Keep in mind that this is different from Office 2016, which Microsoft also has planned for folks who prefer to use a keyboard and mouse, and is instead a version of Office that should cater to touchscreen users.
Word, Excel and PowerPoint are currently available. In order to get started, you’ll need to make sure you have the Windows 10 Technical Preview installed first. Then, using the Windows Store Beta, you can search for the new Office applications.
